Welcome to Trevaylor in Autumn and Winter
Trevaylor caravan and camping park is preparing to meet and greet its autumn and winter season visitors for holidays by the coast.
A Gentle Shift from Summer
As summer draws to a close, we rustle softly into autumn just like summer never left; the sun is still smiling down on us warmly and the winds are gentle on our skin. Mind you, I'm not sure too much of the summer was always this good anyhow, so to have it like this at the moment is definitely a bonus and a real treat!
A Welcoming Place for All
Throughout the summer holidays it has been wonderful to see so many people from all over the world and from all walks of life cross over the threshold and in to Trevaylor. We have been host to families, couples, groups and individuals alike, most of whom come to this particularly wild and rugged part of West Penwith to immerse themselves in the stunning coastal scenery.
Mining Heritage and Dramatic Scenery
The area around Botallack is also richly steeped in mining history and offers one of a very few vistas of such a heavily industrialised past which are actually quite breathtakingly stunning on the eye. To see the old Wheal houses clinging to the cliffs with the tips of the Atlantic ocean waves lashing at their base stones on a strong south westerly gale drives home the sense of astonishment of what it must have been like for the hundreds of men, women and children who used to work there back in the time of "Poldark".
